League Competition
Overview
Dates: February 14–March 28, 2025
How to compete: Log into your mission.io account and run the League Mission with your class during the competition.
Grades: All classes, from Kindergarten to 9th grade, are invited to join the fun. Don't forget to run your grade's specific Mission.
Winners: The top-scoring classes from Kindergarten to 1st grade, 2nd to 3rd grade, and 4th to 9th grade will be revealed in late March.
Prizes: bragging rights, a shiny Mission.io certificate, and a legendary pizza party! (Because let's be honest, sometimes the best reward involves melted cheese.)
Warning: Excitement levels may reach 'running through the classroom screaming' decibels. Teacher discretion is advised.
Rules
- Each participating class can attempt the Mission only one (1) time. (Classes can make multiple attempts, but only the first attempt will be considered and scored.)
- Missions must be finished in one class period.
- No pausing or unpausing students’ screens.
- No adding time to the Mission (subtracting time is allowed).
- No altering of included questions.
- Minimal adult help (Teachers may guide students only when necessary, but should never give the answers away.)
Scoring
The final score for each Mission run will be calculated by our team each day. Updates will be made to the leaderboard on a regular basis, and scores will be generated from the following:
- Average student game score (30%)
- Application (20%)
- Collaboration score (20%)
- Initiative score (15%)
- Knowledge (10%)
- Resilience score (5%)
